
The ASUS EAH4850/HTDI/512M, built upon the ATI Radeon HD 4850 chipset, is a higher-end video card for desktop PCs. The graphics card has 800 stream processing units, 512MB of DDR3 memory, a 256-bit memory interface, and support for Microsoft DirectX 10.1 and ATI CrossFireX technologies.
The video card has a core clock speed of 625MHz and 993MHz memory clock.
The reviewed ASUS EAH4850/HTDI/512M PCI Express 2.0 card has a large and quiet Glaciator-branded cooler that expands card's thickness to two slots of the desktop computer case. The EAH4850 is HDCP-compliant and has a native HDMI output with 7.1 audio and two DVI ports. It reqires a 6-pin power cable from the power supply. The package includes the video card, a DVI to D-Sub adaptor, DVI to HDMI adaptor, HDTV-out cable, power cable, User Manual book, and two CDs (drivers and user's manual).
